Abstract

Quarter life crisis is a critical phase often marked by identity confusion and social pressure, which can reduce individuals’ self-acceptance. Religiosity, particularly knowledge and practice of religious values, has the potential to be a source of strength in facing these challenges. Islamic counseling, as a holistic approach integrating psychological and spiritual aspects based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, can help individuals organize positive thinking patterns and behaviors to enhance self-acceptance. This study aims to examine the influence of religiosity on self-acceptance among individuals in the quarter life crisis period. This study used a quantitative method with 267 respondents, analyzed through simple linear regression using SPSS. The results show that religiosity has a positive and significant effect on self-acceptance, with an R value of 0.513 and an R² value of 0.263. The knowledge and practice indicators are the dominant factors in this influence. These findings reinforce the importance of the Islamic counseling approach in supporting self-acceptance during the quarter life crisis.
