Pleine conscience et psychoéducation : pistes d’intégration en milieu scolaire primaire

Abstract
Cet essai vise à documenter les modalités optimales d’intégration des interventions basées sur la pleine conscience (IBPC) au sein de la pratique psychoéducative en milieu scolaire primaire québécois. S’appuyant sur les fondements théoriques de la pleine conscience ainsi que sur ses effets reconnus tant chez les enfants que chez le personnel scolaire, l’analyse met en lumière les leviers d’une implantation efficace des IBPC. Parmi ces leviers figurent une formation approfondie des intervenants, la qualité du lien adulte-enfant, l’adaptation des outils d’intervention aux capacités développementales des enfants ainsi qu’une collaboration interdisciplinaire soutenue. L’essai examine également les principaux défis liés à l’intégration de l’approche de la pleine conscience dans les interventions des professionnels du milieu scolaire, notamment la nécessité de maintenir une application fidèle des pratiques, l’exigence d’un entraînement rigoureux pour en assurer la maîtrise ainsi que les contraintes matérielles et humaines susceptibles d’en freiner la mise en oeuvre. En somme, cette analyse propose une revue d’interventions et de programmes fondés sur l’approche de la pleine conscience, susceptibles d’être intégrés de manière cohérente à la pratique psychoéducative dans les écoles primaires québécoises.
