Resumo O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar a estrutura de um minicurso desenvolvido no intuito de promover um ensino para a criatividade a partir da interdisciplinaridade entre Arte e Ciência. Além disso, busca refletir sobre as contribuições que este tipo de ensino pode proporcionar à formação inicial de licenciandos em Química e Artes Visuais. Ao longo do minicurso, fica evidente a influência tanto do indivíduo quanto do grupo e do ambiente no qual os alunos estão inseridos para o desenvolvimento e a expressão da criatividade. Ainda, a interdisciplinaridade explorada dentro de um ensino para a criatividade contribuiu para a promoção de um pensamento complexo, no qual diversas dimensões do conhecimento puderam ser trabalhadas.
