Abstract
In deze bijdrage staat het systeem van corporate justice centraal, dat veelvuldig wordt ingezet als reactie op (interne) financieel-economische criminaliteit. Corporate justice is een systeem dat parallel loopt aan het strafrechtelijke systeem, waarbinnen interne financieel-economische criminaliteit met hulp van particuliere onderzoekers wordt onderzocht en afgehandeld. Dit systeem staat echter niet op zichzelf en contacten met strafrechtelijke actoren kunnen op macro-, meso- en microniveau worden beschouwd. De betrokken actoren en hun activiteiten worden besproken, alsmede de publiek-private relaties tussen deze ‘corporate justice actoren’ en het strafrechtelijke systeem. De bijdrage wordt afgesloten met een kritische beschouwing ten aanzien van corporate justice, en het identificeren van belangrijke foci voor toekomstig empirisch onderzoek op dit gebied.
