Квебекский вариант французского языка вызывает пристальное внимание исследователей в сфере лингвистики. Настоящая статья непосредственно посвящена анализу характерных для него лексем, далее упоминаемых как квебецизмы, на материале фильма канадского режиссера Ксавье Долана «Мамочка», их отличий от языковых единиц классического варианта французского языка, а также разнице между двумя вариантами языка на уровнях грамматики, в частности морфологии и синтаксиса. Актуальность работы объясняется малоизученностью квебекского диалекта.
