Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Recorded on 8/28/2025 beginning at 5:56AM and ending at 2:02PM. This recording captures the last 2 hours of Pure County 89 and the first 6 hours of the reboot of 89x. 89x starts at about 2 hours and 12 minutes into the recording. 89X broadcasted to the Windsor, Ontario and Detroit (southeastern Michigan) areas but could also be heard in Northwestern Ohio. On November 18, 2020, 89X announced that they would switch formats the following day although they did not specify what type of music they would play. On November 19, 2020 at 12PM, 89X became Pure Country 89 as many other stations across Canada also owned by Bell Media also changed formats including Windsor based CIDR-FM Virgin Radio, formally known as The River. You can find my previous recording of the last hours of 89x here: https://archive.org/details/cimx-89-x-final-hours-115-am-725-am Recorded from ~9 miles from the transmission site using a Sony XDR-F1HD tuner and compressed to a 256kbps AAC audio file.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
