ALTERAÇÕES PSICOLÓGICAS NO PERÍODO PERINATAL E A TRANSIÇÃO PARA A PARENTALIDADE

Abstract
A transição para a parentalidade, compreendida entre a gravidez, o parto e o puerpério, constitui uma fase de intensas mudanças biopsicossociais, com efeitos relevantes na saúde mental da mulher e do casal. Estas mudanças podem desencadear sintomas emocionais significativos, exigindo atenção específica à saúde psicológica nesse período. Objetivo: Identificar e analisar as alterações psicológicas que ocorrem ao longo dos três trimestres da gravidez, durante o parto e no puerpério, bem como a sua influência na construção das identidades materna e paterna. Métodos: Revisão integrativa nas bases PubMed® e EBSCOhost. Incluíram-se artigos dos últimos cinco anos, com texto completo, em português, inglês ou espanhol. Excluíram-se estudos com foco em aspetos físicos, condições clínicas específicas, gravidez na adolescência, ou fatores externos como etnia ou pandemia. Foram analisados seis artigos, com metodologias qualitativa, quantitativa e mista. Resultados: A evidência revela que as alterações emocionais são dinâmicas e influenciadas por fatores como o suporte social, antecedentes de saúde mental, a relação conjugal e o contexto socioeconómico. O puerpério, momento particularmente sensível, impactando o vínculo afetivo com o recém-nascido e o ajustamento emocional dos progenitores. Conclusão: Destaca-se o papel fundamental da enfermagem em saúde materna e obstetrícia, na deteção precoce do sofrimento psicoemocional e na promoção de intervenções que favoreçam uma parentalidade positiva e saudável. A integração de cuidados de saúde mental no acompanhamento perinatal é essencial para prevenir desfechos adversos e fortalecer a adaptação dos casais a esta nova etapa de vida.
