Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract The effects of Reynolds number on the flow dynamics around a rectangular prism with chord-to-thickness ratio of 6 in a uniform flow were studied experimentally using time-resolved particle image velocimetry. The tested Reynolds numbers (Re) based on the incoming flow velocity and the thickness of the prism were 1000, 2000, 5000, and 10000. The results are analyzed in terms of the mean flow, Reynolds stresses, triple velocity correlations, and frequency spectra. The results indicate that the mean flow reattaches onto the surface of the prism regardless of Reynolds number. The magnitudes of the Reynolds normal stresses and triple velocity correlations decrease with an increase in Reynolds number. The Strouhal numbers for all the tested Reynolds numbers are with a range of 0.16 to 0.19.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
