Abstract
Cet article se vaut une tentative de comparaison entre deux mouvements migratoires, algériens en France avec celui vers le Canada. Cette étude comparative entre ces deux migrations, sur un seul groupe mais sur deux espaces différenciés, est menée en adoptant la même perspective d’analyse suivie par Abdelmalek SAYAD pour démontrer et défendre l’exemplarité de l’émigration algérienne en France. En traitant les mêmes éléments développés dans « immigration exemplaire » à savoir : la genèse singulière, immigration de travail, l’immigration familiale et la variété des rapports de forces. L’étude révèle les points communs ainsi que les divergences entre ces deux migrations.
