Artémis est un modèle de croissance forestière fonctionnant à l’échelle de l’arbre paramétré pour les forêts du Québec. Artémis prévoit entre autres l’accroissement diamétral, le risque de mortalité, ainsi que le recrutement de nouveaux arbres. Il peut être utilisé pour simuler des traitements de coupe partielle et les résultats de ses simulations peuvent être exprimées en volume marchand brut à différentes échelles (strate, placette, arbre, billon) ou en biomasse. Artémis peut être utilisé avec le compilateur de carbone CAT et est intégré à Capsis, un logiciel libre dédié à la modélisation de la croissance forestière.
