Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

IE TCD MS 9385/1290: Letter from Joseph Soames, Soames Edwards, 58 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, England to Matthew Evanson O'Brien dated 2nd January 1893 informing him that there are no outstanding payments due to him: "I am in receipt of your letters and telegram but I do not make out that there is any balance due to you. You will recollect that I wrote you on the 27th October last enclosing you a cheque for £50 which I then stated would about balance the [?] and called your attention to one or two items which I said you might possibly be able to explain. You promised in a letter of the 28th October to call upon me to afford me some explanation but this you have not done. Consequently the matter stands precisely as it did when I wrote since which date nothing further has accrued due". Dublin-born Matthew Evanson O'Brien (1842-1911) was a lawyer; he died and was buried in Wetaskiwin Cemetery, Wetaskiwin, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Joseph Soames was the solicitor for the Times newspaper for the Parnell Special Commission proceedings.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
