Abstract
Réaliser des coupes partielles pour approvisionner une usine de bois d’œuvre implique de tirer un revenu suffisant à partir des bois récoltés pour amortir les coûts d’approvisionnement. Nous avons calculé le diamètre à maturité financière (DMF) et analysé le revenu potentiel que pouvaient offrir 15 essences forestières de la forêt tempérée nordique du Québec. De plus, nous avons évalué si les changements environnementaux anticipés au cours des prochaines décennies peuvent entraîner des répercussions sur les perspectives financières de ces essences. Ce troisième avis traite des implications pour l’aménagement des forêts.
