Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This review aims to assess the current understanding of musculoskeletal injury characteristics sustained by ultimate frisbee athletes and identify gaps in the existing body of literature as it pertains to the sport as a whole. Ultimate frisbee injury research is sparse and has not been recently adequately synthesized. Major changes have occurred in the rules and format of the game over time that could affect characteristics of musculoskeletal injuries sustained during game play. Therefore an updated scoping review of musculoskeletal injuries in ultimate frisbee is needed in order to map the current literature base and to identify future areas where additional research is needed.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
