Ruas Jalan Sisingamangaraja , jalan Panglima Polim dan jalan Salim Batubara Kota Bandar Lampung, menarik untuk dijadikan obyek penelitian terutama dalam usaha mengatasi kemacetan arus lalulintas akibat hambatan samping pada saat –saat jam sibuk , hal ini disebabkan pada ruas jalan tersebut adalah jalan alternatif untuk ke tujuan bagi pengendara serta terdapat pusat pusat kegiatan umum seperti sekolah sekolah, perkantor pemerintahan serta pusat kegiatan perdagangan dari hasil analisa diatas didapat Kinerja Ruas jalan Panglima Polim dan ruas jalan Sisingamangaraja serta ruas jalan Salim Batubara baik pada kondisi eksisting dengan Tingkat pelayanan yang ada untuk ruas jalan Panglima Polim , ruas jalan Samratulangi dan jalan Salim Batubara dengan Fungsi jalan Skunder Lokal LHR > 500 smp/jam kelas III Teknis III dengan kecepatan Tempuh 56-40 km/jam , dengan kondisi eksisting rata rata 37,5 km / jam dengan demikian telah terjadi penurunan tingkat pelayanan dengan tingkat B yang Kondisi arus lalu-lintas stabil, kecepatan operasi mulai dibatasi oleh kendaraan lainnya dan mulai dirasakan hambatan-hambatan oleh kendaraan disekitarnya , sedang kan pada saat setelah ditingkatkan kecepatan rata rata sebesar 41 km /jam.
