WstępTemat przewodni części monograficznej niniejszego tomu "Chowanny" zogniskowany został na interdyscyplinarnych, ulokowanych w przestrzeni nauk społecznych perspektywach studiów nad problematyką oporu Opór jest kategorią klasyczną, mającą ugruntowany status w teo rii licznych dyscyplin: psychologii, pedagogiki, socjologii, antropologii, nauk politycznych Problematyka oporu, buntu, sprzeciwu była i nadal jest przedmiotem refleksji filozoficznej podejmowanej od starożytności (na przykład Cycerona) aż po myśl nowoczesną (przykładem jest dotyczące buntu i człowieka zbuntowanego dzieło autorstwa Alberta Camusa, czy też koncepcja nieposłuszeństwa obywatelskiego przedstawiona najpierw przez Henry'ego Davida Thoreau, a następnie przez Hannę Arendt) Naukowa refleksja nad oporem zawiera odniesienia do bogatego systemu pojęć oraz teorii, przez których pryzmat resistance studies są rozwijane i pogłębiane w najbardziej prestiżowych ośrodkach naukowych świata Do pojęć tych należą między innymi, wspomniane już w niniejszym wprowadzeniu, kategorie buntu, nieposłuszeństwa, a także protestu, podmiotowości, emancypacji Są to pojęcia specyficzne dla transgresyjnego spojrzenia na problematykę oporu Studia nad oporem zawierają także odmienne spojrzenie na tę kategorię -opór jest tu rozumiany jako niechęć do zmiany zarówno na poziomie indywidualnych, utrwalonych strategii adaptacyjnych (na przykład opór występujący w procesie terapeutycznym), jak i na poziomie organizacji Opór definiowany jest w naukach społecznych najczęściej jako system refleksyjnych działań podejmowanych przez jednostkę lub grupę "CHOWANNA" 2017, T 2 (49)
