Constitution of Resonance: Tesla, Apparatus, Intelligence — Sepideh Majidi This work constructs a philosophical-technical model in which resonance is treated as the constitutive logic of matter, cognition, and coherence. It reads Nikola Tesla’s experiments not as historical curiosities or engineering prototypes, but as conceptual instruments through which intelligence, medium, and apparatus may be understood as expressions of a single ontological condition. Across both empirical and ontological domains, the text advances the claim that intelligence is not an emergent computation nor an isolated faculty, but a relational capacity — the ability of a system to align itself with the resonant continuities of the real. The apparatus, in this framework, is redefined as a geometry of revelation: a structure that gathers dispersed vibration into coherence, rendering the invisible visible, the diffuse legible. Terms such as ether, medium, and coherence-enabling continuum are used not as physical hypotheses but as formal operators, naming the conditions under which resonance and cognition emerge as one process. By formalizing correspondences among physical, cognitive, and planetary scales, the work situates Tesla’s coil, the Earth’s ionospheric cavity, and the human nervous system within a shared grammar of oscillation. Rather than proposing an experimental theory, Constitution of Resonance serves as a model of thought: an architecture for computing intelligence through the logic of resonance. Apparatus becomes both empirical and metaphysical interface — an event where matter, perception, and order converge. What emerges is a unified framework in which electricity, thought, and being are not separate categories but resonant phases of one continuous medium.
