Abstract
Prenant pour étude de cas les Indiens Cri Lubicon – une petite communauté de quelque 500 membres vivant au nord de l’Alberta qui fit acte de désobéissance civile pour faire valoir sa souveraineté – cette contribution tend à démontrer que celle-ci est doublement une « société contre l’État », structurellement d’abord, au sens où l’entend Pierre Clastres, c’est-à-dire en l’absence d’un pouvoir politique coercitif, et en tant qu’elle constitue un peuple colonisé qui tente de s’émanciper en affirmant sa souveraineté face au pouvoir colonial.
