Abstract
In this work the object of research is the Arctic shelf, and the subject â the process of its development. The work purpose â the analysis of development of oil and gas resources of the Arctic shelf, identifying problems and prospects of development of the Arctic shelf. In the process of research was conducted comparative analysis of natural, technological and legal aspects of the Arctic shelf development not only Russia, but also Norway, Canada and the USA and also addressed the issue of oil and gas resources of the Arctic by the company OA.
