Abstract
The Biographies are the result of research that began in 1986 and in the format of a narrative on each ancestral couple beginning with their marriage and continuing with biographical information on their descendants. Information on any individual before they is found in the biography of their parents, e.g. Alberta Matelena’s high school years are described in the biography of her parents Albert & Dorothy (Southard) Matelena. These narratives are grouped based on a series of pedigree charts that date to the mid-1980s with the first file in each Biography item containing the pedigree chart specific to the narratives in that item, e.g. the first file in Biographies 1 is Pedigree Chart numbered 1. Additionally, all the pedigree charts are also found in a separate file. The numbering system used for pedigree charts follows a standard formula which gives us charts numbered in the thousands. This would be accurate if every chart was filled out completely beginning with this one, but as they are not complete, there are huge gaps in the sequence of numbers as you will soon see.
