En 1970 et 1971, la publication des revues underground hollandaises Modern Papier et Tante Leny presenteert ! est marquée par la réappropriation subversive de la ligne claire, aussi bien que d’autres styles de la bande dessinée franco-belge classique. De 1975 à 1976, la dernière aventure complète de Tintin, Tintin et les Picaros, est sérialisée et pauvrement reçue du point de vue critique...
