Abstract
Parental participation in children's schooling has been extensively investigated over the past two decades. Parental involvement has contributed to children's achievements and to their social and emotional development. In recent years, information technologies, especially websites and blogs, have been used to increase parental participation in their children's school activities. We collaborated with a Canadian first grade teacher in order to study the impact of a classroom blog on parents ' involvement.
