Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The feasibility of a renewable energy (RE) powered hydrogen (H2) based electricity system for houses has been investigated as a possible way to reduce the export to the electricity grid of large amounts of excess power from renewable sources. The RE-H2 system involves production of H2 from excess PV power, seasonal storage of the H2, and consumption of this H2 during less sunny periods. This RE-H2 concept has been modelled in the whole-building simulation program ESP-r using calibrated component models. The influence of main system para-meters on the system performance is investigated and the results of applying a ‘viable ’ RE-H2 system at diffe-rent locations across Canada is discussed. Conclusions are presented on the performance of the RE-H2 systems related to the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and energy use, as well as the technical and economic feasibility of the concept for residential buildings.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
