Abstract
A Canadian Diabetes Association publication for Canadian physicians / Publié par l’Association canadienne du diabète pour les médecins canadiens Sex is not just a physical act: It resultsfrom a combination of physiologic,affective and cognitive factors. Because of the complexity of sexual func-tioning—with both organic and psycho-logical factors—it tends to be poorly understood.
