Abstract
The seventy-sixth annual meeting of the AAPA will be held at the Sheraton Society Hill Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There will be 847 poster and podium presentations in 38 sessions, with over 1,750 participating authors. The program includes eight podium symposia and three poster symposia that span the breadth of our discipline. The program also includes the Fifth Annual Wiley-Liss Symposium; this year’s symposium honors one of the giants of the field, W.W. Howells, with contributions from Prof. Howells ’ former students and distinguished members of the profession. Even more than in past years, this years program reflects the international nature of our meetings. Roughly 24 % of the senior authors live outside the United States, representing 32 nations.
