Although ethanol dominates the policy agenda, the bioproduct opportunity is much broader. As the industry expands, the ability to develop bioproducts will be a key competitive priority. This analysis examines the relationship between firm characteristics and strategies and innovation, as measured by the total number of products under development and on the market.
