Abstract
B.Sc. in 1957, thence moving on to Princeton University, where he obtained his MA in 1963 and his PhD in 1964. Under Dr Murray’s leadership the University of Alberta was first in Canada in 1997, 1998 and 1999 with royalties of $4.3 million generated by the numerous patents issued and licenses negotiated. His work and activities have lead to the creation of some 130 knowledge based companies in Alberta and BC.
