NEWSLETTER CANADIAN ATHLETIC THERAPISTS ASSCIATION ASSOCIATION
Bibliographic record
Abstract
January 2009. This will be the first newsletter submission written by a CATA President in the same month that it will be published for its members. How exciting! Another exciting part of this venture is that our member will now have access to a multitude of journals on line. Look for the upcoming e-blast for the access process. As always, we have a few association projects on the go. The role delineation study is moving along as it goes through its various steps. An update will be provided to you at the AGM in Vancouver this year. We have also established a task force to review the 1200 hour requirement for certification. This group will be looking at the number of hours as well as how these hours should be cumulated. We have established a new position within the CATA. We saw as important that the CATA and its members be maximally represented during the building of the health science programs and groups associated to Major Games being held in Canada. With this in mind, we have formalized a position called: Domestic Major Games Liaison. This certified member of the CATA will be appointed by the CATA BOD in the year that the games are awarded to a Canadian city. The goal of this position is to work with the host committee. We want Athletic Therapy in Canada to remain leaders in care for high performance athletes. Please see below some excerpts from

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; the direct Gemma label and the distilled Codex classifier agree on what is shown here.
