The occurrence of h6gbomite in high-grade metamorphic rocks*
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Abstract. H6gbomite has generally been considered to be a rare accessory phase in metamorphic rocks. While investi-gating high-grade peraluminous metamorphites in the Ben-son Mine District, Adirondack Mountains, New York and the Manitouwadge Massive Sulfide District, Ontario, Cana-da, we have found several h6gbomite occurrences and be-lieve that h6gbomite is more widespread in high-grade alu-ruinous rocks than previously recognized. At Benson Mine, an iron-rich h6gbomite (H6g) occurs with K-feldspar-mag-netite (Mt)-ilmenite (Ilm)-biotite-almandine (Alm)-silliman-ite (Sil)-quartz (Qz)-hercynite (Hc)-corundum (Cor)-rutile (Ru). At Manitouwadge, Fe-Zn h6gbomite is found with gedrite-eordierite-staurolite-hercynite-magnetite_+ quar z + ilmenite _+ futile + biotite + cassiterite. Because composi-tion varies with structure type, it is essential to deter-mine the structure of h6gbomite utilized in specific reac-tions. H6gbomite from Benson Mine has an 8H structure type, while that at Manitouwadge has a complex mixed structure. Both are more iron-rich than previously reported h6gbomites, and their composition can be approximated by the ideal formula FesAl16TiO3o(OH) z. Proposed reac-tions for 8H-h6gbomite are H6g = Ilm + Hc + Cor + V,

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
