Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) is shown to cause failures in digital systems by changing the propagation delays of critical signals. A parameter called delay margin is introduced to define the maximum allowable changes in propagation delay under which the circuit will operate reliably. Experimental results are reported in which circuit immunity to EMI is shown to have increased significantly when the delay margin is maximized. 1 Introduction Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) has long been known to cause failures in digital circuits. Previous work has concentrated on achieving immunity to EMI by reducing the amplitude of the interfering signal coupled into the This work was supported by Bell Canada, the Information Technology Research Centre of Ontario, and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
