Abstract
This peer support manual reflects the efforts of nine committee members from across the province. The group was composed primarily of people who have experienced mental illness and a few service providers; all are active in the area of peer support. The committee oversaw the research, writing and production of this manual which was carried out by the CMHA- B.C. Division Consumer Development Project in Kelowna and the Research, Education, Evaluation and Support Centre (R.E.E.S.) of the Capital Health Region in Victoria, two consumer-based organizations.
