Abstract
The Perinatal EducaƟon Program plans and delivers educaƟonal programming addressing obstetrical and neonatal care. The Perinatal EducaƟon Program, University of Saskatchewan and the Perinatal Outreach EducaƟon Program, Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region work on a number of programs, projects and iniƟaƟves to promote distribuƟve learning pertaining to perinatal care on a provincial basis. This includes rural and remote locaƟons in Saskatchewan. Our goal is to promote opƟmal perinatal outcomes based on evidence‐based care and to idenƟfy, facilitate and evaluate conƟnuing educaƟon and professional development for physicians, nurses, midwives and other health care professionals who provide care to mothers and their families.
