Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

ministers responsible for education to provide a forum in which they could discuss matters of mutual interest, undertake educational initiatives cooperatively, and represent the interests of the provinces and territories with national educational organizations, the federal government, foreign governments, and international organizations. CMEC is the national voice for education in Canada and, through CMEC, the provinces and territories work collectively on common objectives in a broad range of activities at the elementary, secondary, and postsecondary levels. Through the CMEC Secretariat, the council serves as the organization in which ministries and departments of education undertake cooperatively the activities, projects, and initiatives of particular interest to all jurisdictions.1 Note of appreciation The Council of Ministers of Education, Canada, would like to thank the students, teachers, and administrators whose participation in the 2013 International Computer and Information Literacy Study ensured its success. The quality of your commitment made this study possible. We are truly grateful for your dedication to this study, which will contribute to a better understanding of the ways in which students develop computer and information literacy at the lower-secondary level,2 their learning environment, the contexts and outcomes of ICT-related education programs, and the use of ICT in schools.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
