Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

INFORMATION 10 USERS This manuscript has been reproduced frorn the microfilm master. UMI films the text directly from the original or copy submitted. Thus, some thesis and dissertation copies are in typewriter face, while others may be from any type of cornputer printer. The quality of this reproduction is dependent upon the quality of the copy submitted. Broken or indistinct pnnt, colored or poor quality illustrations and photographs, print bleedthrough, substandard margins, and improper alignment can adversely affect reproduction. In the unlikely event that the author did not send UMI a cumplete manusuipt and there are rnissing pages, these will be noted. Also, if unauthonzed copyn'ght material had to be removed, a note will widicate the deletion. Oversize materials (e.g., maps, drawings, charts) are reproduced by sedioning the original, beginning at the upper lefthand corner and aintinuing from left to right in equal sections with small overlaps. Each original is also photographed in one exposure and is included in reduced fom at the back of the book. Photographs induded in the original manuscript have been reproduced xerographically in this apy. Higher quality 6 " x 9 " black and white photographie pfints are available for any photographs or illustrations appearing in this copy for an additional charge. Contact UMI diredly to order.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Teacher imitation

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
