Abstract
This report on the current status of High Intensity Focus Ultrasound (HIFU) as a treatment modality for men with localized prostate cancer is provided at the request of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, and serves as an update on the initial report from the G-U Tumour Group dated February 2005 (appended). Since 2005, there has been no major advances in HIFU technology, and no randomized or prospective Phase II or Phase III trials have been reported in the literature. The Ablatherm ® and Sonablate ® devices remain the two principal commercially available technologies in use. The number of machines available worldwide has continued to expand and is now available at over 100 clinical sites around the world. The devices are approved by Health Canada and the European Union, but are not yet approved
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
