Introduction Organic thin films and nanostructures have attracted increasing interest for their potential applications in a variety of advanced technologies, including nonlinear optics (NLO), microelectronics, nanotechnology, light emitting devices, field-effect transistors, liquid crystals, sensors, and solar cells (1-7).
