Summary. The predicted tripling of regional air carriage before the year 2027 sets extremely high requirements on future aircraft choice. The main competitors for a share of this market are Bombardier from Canada and Embraer from Brazil, followed by the French-Italian combination ATR. Having gone through a series of important changes since 1989, PLL LOT S.A. must also compete in this highly dynamic market.
