Abstract
These draft environmental assessment guidelines are intended to be used on an interim basis pending their finalisation. Environment Canada is continuing to work with the wind energy industry and following these discussions will undertake final revision and approval of the document. Once finalised, the guidelines will be provided on the CWS website; they will then be reviewed and updated when required as new information on the interactions between wind turbines and birds becomes available. This document will be reviewed and updated periodically. The most up-to-date version is available on our web site at
