Abstract
This resource book is designed to provide administra'.ors teachers and other educational personnel with a compendium of information derived from research and current educational practices which will facilitate the imp4ementation of effective organizational and instructional strategies..A brief description of the common characteristics of children at eauh age level from five to twelve years is offered. Practical guidelines for te chers for making sound decisions, planning effectively, implementing plans aad evaluating the instructional process are provided. Suggested time allotments for subiect areas (in minutes per 'week) and sample timetables are presented. Also described are several strategies that may be of practical value to the teacher.
