Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

middle Proterozoic volcanic sequences along the northern margin of the Grenville structural province. It comprises a variety of basaltic to rhyolitic lava flows and pyroclastic rocks, of which the majority are felsic welded ash-flow tuff. The Sylvia Lake Formation is a bimodal sequence, in which low silica (basaltic) andesite and rhyolite are the predominant compositions. The rocks are nriched in potassium, and exhibit other characteristics of the high-K calcalkaline and shoshonite association. The volume of rhyolitic ash-flows in relation to the amount of mafic material, the presence of trachyandesites, and the overall chemistry are indicative of substantial influence of continental crust on the development of he volcanic pile. The volcanics are host to numerous base metal and uranium showings, and have potential for precious metal concentrations. The volcanism of the Sylvia Lake Formation represents he last expression of a long-lived middle Proterozoic plutonic episode in this area, but the tectonic framework at the time of generation of these magmas is poorly constrained. The Bruce River Group in central Labrador is one of a series of early and middle Proterozoic supracrustal sequences which outcrop along the northern margin of the Grenville structural

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
