Abstract
(“AESO”). This application is made pursuant to sections 30 and 119 of the Electric Utilities Act under which the AESO prepares, submits, and receives approval from the Alberta Utilities Commission for a tariff which sets out the rates to be charged for, and the terms and conditions that apply to, each class of system access service provided by the AESO. This is a comprehensive tariff application for the 2010 forecast year and comprises the following components: • a 2010 revenue requirement of $1,045.8 million, • the rates and riders to be charged for system access service; • the terms and conditions that apply to system access service; • a discussion of future tariff applications; • responses to directions; and • supporting appendices Two appendices are not included at this time and will be filed as soon as possible. Those appendices will provide a bill impact analysis of the proposed rates and a comparison of the proposed and current terms and conditions. — 2 —
