Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

ABSTRACT: Two white rust resistant Canadian cultivars of Brassica juncea Domo and Cutlass were confirmed to posses resistance to Indian Collection of race 2 of Albugo candida: These were crosed with most widely grown B. juncea white rust susceptible cultivars, Varuna and Kranti, in all posible combinations. The reactions of FtS involving resistant X susceptible parents and their reciprocals were resistant indicating dominance of resistance. The Fz segregation pattern of all the resistant X susceptible crosses revealed the single gene ratios of 3 resistant: 1susceptible plants. The segregation pattern of F, generation and test crosses indicated that white rust resistance ill Domo and Cutlass is under the control of a single dominant gene. Key words: Albugo candida. Brassica juncea, major gene resistance, white rust White rust (WR) of Brassicajuncea (L) Czern and Coss caused by Albugo candida (Pers.) Kuntze is a disease of economic importance in India (Kolte, 1985) and Canada (Rimmer and Buchwaldt, 1995). The disease can cause an average seed yield loss in the range of 17-32 percent in India (K6ite, 1985). The leaf phase of the WR is characterized by development of

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
