Abstract
J’en suis à ma première communication avec vous à titre de présidente et c’est avec plaisir que j’entame mon mandat, tandis que le CNERH, lui, poursuit ses activités dans le domaine de l’éthique en recherche. Notre organisme est maintenant constitué en personne morale et conserve une structure de conseil dont la composition permet d’englober la grande variété de la recherche chez l’humain au Canada. Lors de sa dernière réunion, le Conseil a été gratifié de la présence d’un certain nombre d’observateurs provenant non seulement d’organismes canadiens engagés dans la recherche, mais aussi du bureau de l’Office for Human Research Protections des États-Unis. Ce n’est qu’en œuvrant de concert que l’on peut arriver à déceler les lacunes et les chevauchements.
