Abstract
1.1 To provide Members with the opportunity of reviewing the proposed Preferred Developer for land comprising the hotel and commercial quarter at Rochester Riverside prior to Cabinet consideration. The Rochester Riverside Board considered this matter in May 2007. 1.2 The appendices attached with this report comprise a site plan (Appendix A); the two shortlisted developer’s scheme drawings (Appendix B) and a table comparing the developer’s proposed uses in m2 (metres squared) for the hotel quarter compared to the outline planning permission (Appendix C). 1.3 Appendices that are exempt from this report contain commercially sensitive information relating to the two shortlisted developer’s previous schemes, financial information and the proposed hotel operators. 2. Recommendation 2.1 The Committee is asked to consider and comment on the recommendations set out in this report and to forward any comments for consideration to the Cabinet meeting on 17 July 2007.
