Abstract
Health advisories for drug therapies are issued byregulatory bodies such as Health Canada with thebest of intentions: to protect the public. Such advi-sories are backed by teams of internationally renowned ex-perts convened by these regulatory bodies to review and in-terpret the available scientific evidence related to drug safety and effectiveness. Variability in the interpretation of available scientific evi-dence can lead to different actions by different regulatory bodies.
