Abstract
All participants had normal or corrected-to-normal vision, were right-handed and consented to participate in the experiments. The protocol was approved by the Institutional Review Boards of Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. Because the famous faces used in the study are of American celebrities, only individuals resident in the US or Canada all or most of their lives were included. Congenital Prosopagnosia Six healthy individuals diagnosed with congenital prosopagnosia (one male), aged between 33 and 72, participated in this study (mean age ± SD = 57.67±15.2). None of the individuals with congenital prosopagnosia had any discernible cortical lesion on conventional MRI scanning, and none had a history of any neurological or psychiatric disease. Detailed behavioral profiles, obtained from a battery of diagnostic face processing tests were obtained for all individuals and have been reported previously (see [1, 2]). These individuals also participated in previous functional [3] and structural imaging studies [4, 5]. Controls Twelve healthy individuals (9 females), ages 21-70 (mean ± SD = 32.33±17.56), with no face recognition difficulty (for details on behavioral performance see [2]), participated in this study. This heterogeneous control group was used to encompass the variability of age and gender among the congenital

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; the direct Gemma label and the distilled Codex classifier agree on what is shown here.
