Abstract
Sous-titré De la tentation , La fiancée juive d’Hélène Cixous évoque une passion amoureuse à la manière d’une réécriture du Cantique des cantiques. La tentation ne s’y donne pas à lire sous un prisme moral, mais caractérise bien plutôt l’état qui succède à l’ouverture de la temporalité dès lors que l’on sort de l’union des amant·es, éternelle, divine. Hors de cette jouissance atemporelle engageant l’expérience d’une désubjectivation, toute retombée dans le temps et dans l’espace ouvre la scène pronominale qui creuse la distance du « moi » au « toi ». À partir d’une analyse des perturbations infligées à la structure pronominale par le travail de la tentation, cet article s’attache à explorer leurs enjeux à la fois littéraires, psychanalytiques et féministes, montrant comment Hélène Cixous, dans une subversion féministe du thème de la Chute dénouant tentation et culpabilité, cherche par l’écriture à inventer un amour basé non plus sur la possession du sujet, mais sur l’ouverture à l’autre.
