Abstract
CIS application in geological field began in late 1980s and early 1990s in Canada, GSC geologistshave to submit ARC/INFO coverage to GSC Ottawa office in order to publish their geology map, The Hoodoo Mountain Volcano in Northern BC, Canada is a well--studied volcanic complex. A lot of topograpHic, geological and geochemical data are collected from this area. GSC geologists want a useable and easily queriable database and a customized ARC/iNFO interface for this volcano as a research tool forpresentation & publication purposes.
