Abstract
El presente estudio tiene por objetivo analizar el uso del conflicto Malvinas como mecanismo distractor de problemas internos en Argentina por parte de la Junta Militar en el año 1982. La investigación fue con diseño documental de nivel descriptivo, donde se utilizó la técnica análisis de contenido. Los resultados obtenidos determinan cómo la Junta Militar tuvo intenciones políticas de revitalizar el proceso de reorganización nacional ejecutando la invasión a las Malvinas frente a los problemas internos. En un principio se materializó el objetivo de distraer a la población, generando un momentáneo respaldo popular. Siendo el caso de estudio aplicable a la “Teoría de la guerra de distracción”.
