Abstract
Cet article montre que, en pratiquant tous deux une épistémologie non représentationnelle, Eckhart et Husserl sont plus proches que l’on pourrait le supposer en matière de théologie. Cette proximité se fonde sur une approche similaire de l’ontologie et de l’égologie. Bien que Dieu ne soit pas objectivable, une expérience éthique permet à l’intentionnalité de s’accomplir. Le choix programmatique de Maître Eckhart dans le sermon latin Quasi vas auri solidum s’avère alors intéressant pour relire la manière dont Husserl présente l’articulation entre raison et foi. S’il reste distancié de Maître Eckhart en distinguant la théologie philosophique de la théologie confessionnelle, il estime néanmoins que ces deux voies peuvent se rejoindre à l’infini. L’étude suggère que pour les deux auteurs, la pratique éthique légitime le discours théorique. Enfin, à travers l’approche d’Eckhart et de Husserl, nous sommes mis au défi d’entendre (à nouveau) ce que signifie le mot « Révélation ». Il s’agit ici de découvrir la possibilité d’une nouvelle « phénoménologie théologique ».
