Abstract
This research study analyses Tarique Rahman's political governance ideology, articulated through the "Bangladesh First" (সবার আগে বাংলাদেশ) idea, and assesses its ramifications for national prioritization, democratic governance, and policymaking in Bangladesh. This research study examines philosophy academically, contextualizing it within the broader frameworks of nationalism, democratic governance, and state development. This research examines how the prioritization of national interest and sovereignty influences institutional architecture and public administration through qualitative examination of political speeches, party manifestos, and governance frameworks, alongside comparative governance indicators. The findings indicate that Rahman’s ideology prioritizes national unity, accountability, and policy coherence, offering a conceptual framework for comprehending the interplay of leadership, national identity, and governance in Bangladesh. This study enhances the academic discussion of political philosophy and governance by offering an analytical perspective on the current concepts shaping the nation's political environment.
